Terms
Terms of use.
The terms for using Astrosimo and subscribing to Pro.
Effective date and operator
Effective September 16, 2026. Astrosimo is operated by Joe Simo.
App use
Astrosimo provides capture settings, alignment guidance, planning for the night, stacking, and private record tools for iPhone astrophotography. Field conditions, device capability, weather, and safety remain your responsibility.
Subscriptions
Astrosimo Pro is an auto-renewing subscription purchased through Apple, billed yearly or monthly for the same features. Capture remains automatic, with linear RAW stacking on supported cameras and output up to 4096 px on the long side. Pro also includes manual controls, optional dark frames, adjustable finishing, 16-bit TIFF export, Trails and Time-lapse sessions up to 30 minutes, and photo verification. There is no trial or introductory offer. Localized pricing and renewal terms are shown before purchase. You can cancel or manage the subscription in App Store settings. Pro includes unlimited astrophotography. Free includes three successful captures total, recorded separately in your private iCloud database; deleting photos or reinstalling under the same iCloud account does not reset them. Failed or cancelled captures do not count. Free captures require an available iCloud connection. Saved photos, records, Sky and planning stay available if you cancel; your previous free usage remains unchanged.
Local integrity records
Capture integrity records are local anti-tamper signals and private workflow metadata. They are not a server-side certification or guarantee of authenticity.
Privacy
Use of Astrosimo is also governed by the Privacy Policy.
