Astrosimo privacy
Astrosimo is built around private iPhone astrophotography workflows: planning the night, aligning the phone, capturing with automatic settings, Apple-native coaching, and local integrity records.
No tracking
Astrosimo does not use third-party advertising trackers and does not sell personal data.
Account and subscriptions
Sign in with Apple and the monthly Pro subscription are handled by Apple. Astrosimo stores your app user identifier, display name, handle, and plan state only for app functionality.
Capture and planning data
Planning, capture, image, local integrity, and approximate location records are used for the app workflow and private sync. Precise coordinates are used for live planning and WeatherKit requests.
Apple-native intelligence
When available, Astrosimo uses Apple-native on-device intelligence to turn existing planner and capture metrics into concise coaching. Astrosimo does not send those prompts to an Astrosimo AI backend.
Retention and deletion
Private app records remain available while you use Astrosimo and iCloud. You can remove app capture records and queued sync data from Profile, remove iCloud app data from iCloud storage, or contact support for privacy questions.
