No tracking
Astrosimo does not use third-party advertising trackers and does not sell personal data.
Account and subscriptions
Sign in with Apple and annual or monthly Pro subscriptions are handled by Apple. Astrosimo uses your app user identifier, display name, email address when shared by Apple, handle, and subscription state only for app functionality.
Capture and planning data
Capture, guidance, planning, image, local integrity, approximate location, device model, OS version, and App Attest provenance records are used for the app workflow and private iCloud sync. Precise coordinates are used for live target windows and WeatherKit requests and are never saved. Finished photos are saved to your Photos library when you allow Photos access; location is written into the photo only when Location access is on.
Processing stays on your iPhone
Registration, stacking, and image processing run on the device. Astrosimo has no image-processing backend. Finished photographs save to Photos. A smaller backup of each session is stored in your own iCloud; it is not a full-resolution original.
Retention and deletion
Private app records remain available while you use Astrosimo and iCloud. From Library, open Account: guests can erase all captures, and signed-in users can permanently delete their Astrosimo account, capture records, and queued sync data; Astrosimo also revokes its Sign in with Apple authorization. Photos saved to your Photos library remain under your control there. You can also remove iCloud app data from iCloud storage or contact support for privacy questions.
